RS 485

Hi,

In Industruino,

I want to know that in 14 pin IDC there is also TX and RX and can be used for RS 485. And also there is RS 485 port on the Green Connector names as A and B.

What is the difference between these two.

can any body help me to understand this.

Hi,

can I use both ports. I mean D10/D5 and D0/D1 simultaneusly.

If i buy ethernet module and can I then use ethernet port and D0/D1

my application is to capture the data from sensor who is having modbus TCP protocol and after processing send it to other controller who is having Ethernet TCP/IP protocol.

You suggestions are highly appreciated

Hi, please read here https://github.com/Industruino/libraries#rs485

TX/RX on the expansion port of TTL level; RS485 is a differential signal.

If you want use D0/D1 on the expansion port, be sure to change the switch on the baseboard.
