Modbus Master - possible with Industruino ?

I'm trying for several days to get the SimpleModbusMaster V2.2 library working - till now no luck. Changed the Serial to Serial1 (needed for Leonardo configuration). Has anyone tried this before - to use the Industruino as a ModBus Master - to communicate with Modbus slaves ?

Hi all,

I just uploaded a sample sketch demostrating the use of the Industruino's RS485 tranceiver, even for reading and writing

Thanks,

Did the trick - "standard" SimpleModbusMaster & SimpleModbusSlave works fine. Don't forget to change the Serial port to Serial1.

Extremely interrested in SimpleModbusSlave code examples.

Dear Jan,

The direction of communication on the half duplex RS485 transceiver has to be toggled via pin D9. (can be seen on our pinout diagrams in the tech centre: https://industruino.com/page/indio-diagram )

We will upload a Modbus Master and Modbus Slave library in the coming days.

Best Regards,

Loic

Hello.  Has there been a modbus library released yet?  Or Jan Faber, would you mind uploading the sketch you got working?

I tried adapting the simplemodbusmaster's example sketch to pull data from an industrial controller but haven't been able to get it to work.

Any help is appreciated... Thank you!
