Max current draw from expansion port 5v

Hi,

I'm currently using the expansion port from the IND.I/O to collect temperature measurements from a couple of 1-wire DS18B20 probes and its working great. I'll need to connect many probes on the same bus, maybe about 10-20. Is there any problem in having them all draw current from the 5v output pin in the expansion port?

Thanks,

Rune

Hi Rune, the IND.I/O gets its 5V for the MCU from an isolated DC/DC converter with a theoretical max current of 400mA; as far as i understand this is more than enough for even 10-20 of those sensors.
