Industruino has been ruggidised to be immune to common interferences found in industrial environments. All I/O and supply rails of IND.I/O are protected against transients/ESD and the high-side drivers are over-current/short-circuit/over-temperature protected.
Offcourse your final implementation's reliability is also very dependent on your use of the correct checking routines and watchdog timers.
