industruino

Hi, my name is pablo i from chile, i am started in arduino and i very fan for the industrial automation.

My question is, for example, the arduino leonardo it can put in the prototiping area ? or in this area i must mount a independent circuit of the arduino card ?

the Industruino IND.I/O kit come ready for the use ? i can connect actuators immediately and i programing, or need build a circuit in the industruino ?

i hope your answer

Dear Pablo,

Thank you for your question, please let me explain:

1. The PROTO Industruino has an empty prototyping area inside (IND.I/O doesn't have this), which is intended to add your own components such as amplifiers, motor drivers, communication modules etc etc. There is no need to add an Arduino Leonardo inside, the Industruino already has its own Leonardo compatible microcontroller included inside (located at the top of the enclosure, together with the LCD).

2. The IND.I/O also has the built in Leonardo compatible controller. But instead of the empty prototyping area at the bottom it adds many level shifting circuits, such as 24V digital I/O, 0-10V/4-20mA analog I/O and RS485 transceiver. So to answer to your question: Yes, with IND.I/O model you can connect industrial level actuators directly without having to add your own circuits.

If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to post them here.

Best Regards,

Loic
