Important topboard compatibility
Hello
Currently, on your webpage, it seems that it is only possible to buy the IND.I/O with the D21G top board. While many customers prefer a more powerful processor, this can also be a drawback for many of us since the programs written for our applications will not be compatible between the different versions. As an example, the timer interrupt configuration is on a whole new level for the D21G compared to the 32u4 and 1286. My questions are the following:
1. Is it possible to buy the older versions instead of the new D21G top board?
2. If the answer to (1) is yes, then for how long?
3. If the answer of (1) is no, then how often will you change the processor? If you cannot provide older versions at the same time as you change the processor all the time, this will cause a lot of work for your customers where the program needs to be rewritten and retested all over again.
