D21G Proto power issue

Hi,

Using the USB connector, I'm able to power up the D21G and run my sketch.

But as soon as I use the VIN with a 12V power supply, the board do not seem to boot.

Nothing appear on the screen and the back light is ligthing slowly.

Is there some pin configuration to be able to turn it on correctly with the external power supply ?

Best regards.

Hi, maybe you have a line in your code that says:

while (!SerialUSB()) {};

This will effectively halt the sketch at that point, waiting for a USB connection such as the Serial Monitor of the Arduino IDE. Useful for debugging but probably not what you want for normal operation.

Let us know if that is not it.
