'USB Device not recognized' errors

I'm having trouble connecting to the Ind I/O 1286 using either win7 or win10 as I keep getting 'USB Device not Recognized' errors during startup.  I was able to connect to it a few times after repeated attempts but can no longer connect to it at all.

It seems like it doesn't save the drivers when I install them because after a pc restart they want to install them all over again.

Any ideas?

Oops, looks like the USB cable was the problem.. I switched it for a different one and that fixed the connection issue.

Thank you!

Dear Patrick,

Did you use the .inf file that is included in our support package to install the driver? Do you see the Industruino USB device in the device manager, either under unrecongised devices or COM ports?

Cheers,
