Ethernet expansion module on the left side?

Can I connect the Ethernet expansion module on the left side of an Industruino PROTO21G? I mean, can you provide a long cable for that matter? (not the hard bridge connector that ships with the Ethernet Module)

Dear Diego,

Yes, this is possible with a 14pin IDC flat cable. We don't supply these kind of cables but they can be bought on digikey/mouser/farnell as pre-assembled or separate flat cable+press-fit connectors. I would recommend to press-fit assemble the cable yourself to avoid any mistakes with polarity/pin sequence.

A word of caution: be aware that a cable will be less immune to EMI than the connector board that we supply.

Best Regards,

Loic
