D21G Proto Digital Input pin with 5V
Hi,
Can I connect 5V to the D21G Proto input digital pin without risk ?
And will it be HIGH when reading this pin with digitalRead ?
Regards.
Hi,
Thanks for the information, as I understand, I have to add a pull up resistor or is it optional ?
Regards.

if you have a 0/5V digital signal going into the PROTO, no need for pull-up resistors. only when you want to output 5V you need the pull-up resistor
