IND.I/O D21G — a few parameters not in the published documentation
Hello, I am using an IND.I/O D21G and there are three parameters I have not been
able to find in the datasheet, the product manual, the pinout map or the
documentation repository. Could you help with any of them?
1. Isolated RS485 transceiver: what part number is used on the D21G, and
what is its isolation withstand rating in kV? The datasheet states that
the field sections are isolated and gives 1 kV for the digital and
analogue sections with respect to the MCU, but I could not find a figure
specific to the RS485 barrier.
2. Power consumption of the IND.I/O: are there typical and maximum current
or power figures, at 12 V and at 24 V input, with the field side active
and no load on the digital outputs? A quiescent figure would also be
useful. I have found published figures for the PROTO but not for the
IND.I/O, and I would rather not extrapolate between baseboards.
3. RTC backup: how is the MCP79402 backed up on the D21G topboard? I would
like to understand what the intended arrangement is, whether any user
action is required on a new unit, and what timekeeping retention to
expect once the external supply has been removed for an extended period,
for example several days.
If any of this is documented somewhere I have missed, a pointer would be a
perfectly good answer.
Thanks in advance.
